Dear Diary,

So today I have been annoyed with well... everyone. First off Scott tried to be helpful (I guess) by doing some laundry...he loaded darks, colors and whites in all at the same time so now my whites are gray and my colors dingy. He did manage getting the clothes into the dyer...and shrink my sweater that I never dry. Now I have a pile of clothes that I have to put away and he wonders why I am not thankful to him for helping. Helping? Really? Then as I was driving home from dropping Lily off at school an old man in a white beat up truck cuts in front of me and slows down. So of course I went around him. As I was attempting to speed past him, he decided to speed up. We were neck and neck for awhile but I ended up in front...and yes I am still in my mini van. Gotta love that! The old man seemed to appreciate being beat by a mom in a minivan too because he gave me the finger telling me I was #1! Amelia was in the car with me hopefully her 2 year old brain won't remember that when she is 16 and driving! And lets talk about the crazy weather that can't make up its mind. It was sunny this morning, poured down rain this afternoon and then sunny with blue skies now...That man was at Lily's school again today. I swear I saw him at the grocery too but when I turned around and retraced my steps I couldn't find him and when I started to walk over to him to ask him what he wanted, he took off running and jumped in a dark SUV. Scott thinks I have been watching too many Law & Order shows maybe he's right. Well I better go make dinner...

Dear Diary,

Today started off the same as every other. The baby woke me up at 7 am crying to be fed. I dragged myself out of my warm cozy bed with the oh so comfy down comforter, walked on the cold hardwood floor to Stevens room. Don't get me wrong I love this october weather and the crisp cool air that kisses your face and leaves your cheeks a rosy red. I just would rather enjoy it from my bed is all. Steven was standing in his crib his big blue eyes looking at me as if to say
"there's my beautiful mommy!" There's something about the way that a baby boy looks at his mommy that is beyond words. How could I be mad that he pulled me out of my dream world when he looks at me like that? Diary I know there's a little more of me to love than I would like but I just had a baby...at least that's what I like to tell myself. He's 6 months old now I've had enough time to lose the baby weight...but he thinks I'm beautiful and so does Scott. Speaking of Scott did I tell you he came home from work yesterday took one look at me swept me up into his arms gave me a big kiss and told me to take the night off he would handle the kids? He is amazing. So I called up my best friend Kate and we went to starbucks. We laughed all night long. Her little girl took off her diaper and smeared poo all over her crib TWICE! Kate said she was dry heaving as she was scrubbing the crib with all its tiny crevices. My face hurt I laughed so hard. Luckily for me Scott is in charge of clean-up duty at our house. Can you imagine twice in a 2 hour period? No thank you! Back to my day, I got the girls off to school and came home to find Scott had the day off because of the rain (he is in construction). I couldn't wait to put steven to bed so I could properly thank Scott for my girls night out last night but I'm not going into details about that. Just know that we were both smiling the rest of the afternoon. About this afternoon, I don't know if I am being paranoid or what diary but I have had the distinct feeling that I am being watched. When I went to pick up Lily from School today there was a man in a hoodie standing across the street watching me. At first I didn't think anything of it because it was raining so of course he would be wearing a hoodie, but he didn't leave with a kid. He watched me the entire time I put Lily in the car and then he disappeared...it kind of gave me the creeps. Well Scott just walked into the door. I made broccoli, Cheese & potato soup to celebrate the rain. Until tomorrow, good night!
